Here’s How Easy It Is

Step 1: Mineraluxe Advance Sticks

Infused with minerals, Mineraluxe Advance Sticks are at the heart of the system.

Prevents biofilm, scale and other deposits from adhering to surfaces – greatly reduced risk of frustrating problems (ie. algae, stains, etc).

Less is more. Eliminates the need for several traditional pool maintenance products, such as algicides, clarifiers, stain and scale control products and water softeners.

Specially formulated with a skin lubricant that will enhance the softness and silkiness of your water… everything you and your family deserve!!!

Application & Dosage

Add one Advance Stick per 20,000 liters (5,000 gallons) of water to the skimmer every 2 weeks.

Always apply directly into the skimmer basket with the pump operating.

For smaller volume pools (<20,000 litres/5000 gallons) and volumes that don’t equate to 20,000 litre increments, modify the dosage to achieve the desired application of 1 stick per 20,000 litres every two weeks.

Remove the plastic wrap and always apply an entire Mineraluxe Advance Stick. Avoid breaking the sticks and only applying portions.

Application & Dosage

Add one pouch of Mineraluxe Oxygen per 40,000 litres (10,000 gallons) immediately after the addition of the Mineraluxe Advance Sticks:

Cut the top of the pouch with scissors and sprinkle into the water with the pump running.

Apply the product around the edges of the deep end, if possible.

Circulate water and leave any cover off for a minimum of 1 hour.

Step 3: Mineraluxe Sanitizer

Hydraulic compaction – slow, even dissolving

Important Note! The Mineraluxe system reduces the amount of chlorine required to maintain 1 – 3 ppm so reduce the quantity of Mineraluxe Sanitizer Sticks being employed accordingly. Check using your test kit or strips!

Application & Dosage

Adjust Mineraluxe Sanitizer Sticks to maintain a consistent chlorine residual of 1–3 ppm:

Test your chlorine level with a reliable test kit and adjust application frequency to achieve the recommended level.

Mineraluxe Sanitizer Sticks can be added to a chlorinator, skimmer, floating dispenser or other flow control method and allowed to slowly dissolve, adding a controlled amount of sanitizer to the water.

Can biofilm exist in pools?

Absolutely. A largely hidden menace, most pools would have biofilm formations that go unnoticed, yet harbour algal and other microorganisms, allowing for significant outbreaks when the pools maintenance system breaks down. Biofilm formation can be significant, yet largely invisible in the larger confines of a swimming pool when you consider the difficulties most pools have with proper circulation. Slopes in deep ends, around and under walk-in stairs, ladders, lights and other water features are safe harbours, out of the general flow of sanitizers and oxidizers. In addition, swimming pool piping is usually far more extensive than that of a hot tub, and lays dormant for many months, allowing for considerable growth since most pool maintenance systems are ineffective in these areas.

Does the Mineraluxe System really help reduce chlorine consumption?
The short answer is yup! The principals of fusion science significantly reduce sanitizer demand. When the unique elements in Advance Sticks ‘fuse’ to waste, allowing it to be filtered out, the result is less ‘matter’ that needs to be oxidized. And typically, the majority of sanitizer consumption is spent on oxidation, as opposed to killing microorganisms. The elimination and prevention of biofilm also reduces sanitizer demand. Biofilm mass can grow to a considerable extent in swimming pools, leading to significant sanitizer consumption through oxidative and sanitation efforts. Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it’s not there!
